Carbon Monoxide Detector Law in WA. Michael Ackerman talks Seattle Real Estate.


Michael Ackerman, a Seattle Realtor with Coldwell Banker Bain, blogs about a new Washington State Law that went into effect on April 1st 2012. The new law states that with the transfer or sale of any home (single family, condo, mobile home) that the seller must install carbon monoxide detectors in the home prior the closing date. Michael has found that most of his sellers were not aware of this law until he told them about it. It is a great law that is now in place to help protect the consumer.
